Our 2011 Outreach Campaign Kicks Off

Thanks to all of our supporters for a great 2010 at the studio.

By now, most of us recognize how lucky Athens is to have a vibrant community aerial arts center. In fact, you might even take for granted the aerial performances that happen frequently in our community! At Canopy, our mission is to offer a center that enriches the lives of individuals through aerial dance, movement education, and performance arts.

The well-trained teachers and volunteers at Canopy love what they do… and with additional funding, we can increase community exposure to aerial dance. Over the last year, we’ve seen an increase in enrollment, new classes for children and adults, and more community performances in our space. Aerial arts is a recognized medium for bringing happiness, creativity, physical challenge, and confidence to those who participate. Thank you for your support!
