Amy Powell

Like so many others at Canopy, Amy Powell saw a performance and had to try it. Once she tried it, she was hooked. She has been doing both trapeze and aerial fabrics for about five years. She is so passionate about aerial dance as her creative outlet that she was climbing the fabrics two days before she gave birth to her daughter. During her
non-Canopy hours Amy runs a small publishing company called Shiny Red Ball Publishing. Amy enjoys writing, big talk as opposed to small talk, growing food, spending as much time outside as possible, loving and playing with her daughter, and constantly exploring new ideas.
